Who needs another Windows site? Aren't there millions of them already? Is this site really different?

This site is centered on Windows XP, although some of the tips and customizations can be applied to other versions of Windows. My main focus is on stability, security, and recovery of XP.

My techniques are geared toward separating XP into manageable portions that become simpler to backup and restore, easier to customize and repair, resulting in increased stability and reduced vulnerability to data loss.

The tools I use are fairly simple, many are already included in Windows XP, and those that aren't are either free, shareware, or very low cost.

This is the beginning of what I hope will become a useful source for those who aren't satisfied with, or can't find what they're looking for on, other Windows Help sites.

Construction will continue as rapidly as time and other obligations permit.
